Arlington Community Schools has officially launched its search for the next superintendent to replace retiring Supt. Tammy Mason.
School board members approved a brochure Tuesday, February 25, that will be used in the search process. The process has an application deadline of March 13 with hopes of having a new superintendent in place and acclimated by the end of the school year and officially taking over the position by July 1.
Mason served as the superintendent for the district’s first seven years and played a vital role in the incredible success of the district since its inception.
