Longtime Bartlett barbers Lee Meeks and Mike Miskelly have opened The Barber Shop at 2880 Whitten Road, just a block from their former workplace, Stage Road Barber Shop. With over 45 years of experience for Meeks and 11 years for Miskelly, the duo decided to create a space that blends old-school charm with modern convenience. Their shop offers straight-razor shaves, vintage-inspired décor, and a vacuum system on clippers to keep customers comfortable. Extensive renovations transformed the previously vacant building into a welcoming space, complete with a candy-striped barber pole and artwork from local students.

Joining them is barber Patty Zachery, who specializes in straight-razor shaves and also sells her handmade pottery on-site. The team’s dedication to quality service and community is already winning over loyal customers, like Steve Thomas, who praises their friendly atmosphere and excellent haircuts. Open Tuesday through Saturday, The Barber Shop is poised to become a staple in Bartlett, offering both classic and contemporary styles in a thoughtfully curated setting.
