City Silo Table & Pantry will open its second restaurant in Saddle Creek in Germantown sometime next fall.

The new location is at 7605 W. Farmington Blvd. in the former Grimaldi’s Pizzeria site and is 3,500 square feet with a covered patio and roll up garage doors, according to a release.

The original City Silo, near Muddy’s Bake Shop in East Memphis, was birthed from the former vegan juice bar Cosmic Coconut. Owner Scott Tashie had taken over Cosmic Coconut’s operation in 2012 and had an eye toward expansion.

City Silo opened in 2017, offering juice, “wellness lattes,” coffee, bowls, and a healthy-leaning menu. Tashie, who owns the restaurant with his wife Rebekah, also operates the two I Love Juice Bars, both in Midtown.

The new location will have a full bar with juice cocktails, local draft beers, and Prosecco cocktails. The plan is to take the current City Silo menu and expand it.
